Your Scouting Legacy and Smart Ways To Give Back

Empower the Future of Ventura County Council, Today and Tomorrow

Like you, at Ventura County Council we are dedicated to empowering young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lifetimes. When you include a gift to Ventura County Council in your will or estate plan, you become a champion for America’s future leaders.

Whether you would like to put your donation to work today or make an impact after your lifetime, we can help you find a gift that meets your goals. Your legacy can help countless young people embrace their true potential and become the extraordinary leaders they are destined to be.

Planning Your Legacy

Your Legacy Will Ensure the Opportunities for Young People in the Order of the Arrow for Generation to Come

The Order of the Arrow has a Vision To be why Scouts want to stay in Scouting. As Scouting’s National Honor Society, the Order of the Arrow is uniquely positioned to provide leadership opportunities, cheerful service, camaraderie and friendship, and outdoor adventure which ignite limitless Scouting journeys for youth in their units, communities, councils, and our nation.

Your planned gift to the Order of the Arrow will ensure that the opportunities available to youth in the Order of the Arrow today continue for generations to come, and support new, innovative programs to keep more Scouts in Scouting. A planned gift to the Order of the Arrow will include you as part of the Order of the Arrow’s Goodman Society.

The Goodman Society has been specifically created to honor and perpetuate the memory of the Founder of the Order of the Arrow, E. Urner Goodman. Your planned gift is an enduring investment in the programs and events of the Order of the Arrow which further enrich youth leadership skills, provide additional access to more youth through scholarships and grants, and enhance the Scouting program through affirming positive service to others and building life-long friendships.

Begin My Giving Legacy

Unlike cash donations, planned gifts are typically made from assets in your estate rather than from disposable income, and may come to fruition after your lifetime. Loyal supporters like you have made a lasting difference in the lives of young people by including Ventura County Council in their will or estate plan.
